We caught up with Tamecka and asked her a few questions about her designer invitations and announcements, and her experiences so far working with TAG. Here's what she said:

Tell us a little bit about your shoppe.
Honeyprint offers modern, colorful, and chic invitations and stationery products. I love to design little pieces of art that will be part of someone’s special day. I get inspiration for my designs from everywhere, and I’m always striving to keep my designs fresh.

What is your favorite product from your shoppe and why?
That’s hard to do as I love them all! However, if I had to pick it would be my Orange & Pink Dinosaur Birthday Party invitation designs. These two invitations just speak ‘FUN’ to me, and when a guest gets one they know it’s going to be a ‘Dino-mite’ time. The colorful dinosaurs and font really attracts a lot of customers, and it has been a best seller this summer.

When you're not designing such adorable paper goods, what are your hobbies?
I love to cook, and act as if I’m a chef deserving to be on Food Network. This fall, I’m looking forward to making my delicious homemade Dutch Apple Pies (secret recipe) which will bring happiness to lots of my family and friends tummies. Also, I love to travel and enjoy different parts of this beautiful world.

What do you like best about The Artisan Group?
I love how supportive and knowledgeable everyone is in The Artisan Group. From the moment that I became a member, Valerie has been so helpful with business advice. Our members are very talented, and have some awesome products that I may not have found anywhere else. This group is definitely top notch!

SEEING IS BELIEVING

We caught up with Pamela and asked her a few questions about her ceramic wall hangings, and her experiences so far working with TAG. Here's what she said:

Tell us a little bit about your shoppe.
Seeing Is Believing Artistry was created for the need to get my wares out in front of people who love and respect art. I have sold in a few different shoppes, but I thought that this would help my wares sell better since I had moved to a small town in Washington State, where there really isn't a large supply of shops. Plus, I became a stay at home mom and needed to keep my creative energy flowing and what better way is there to do that than sell and create more pieces.

What is your favorite product from your shoppe and why?
I really hate making these kind of decisions, but IF I had to choose, I would say my Dragonfly Heart Rattle. This is what started my earthy ceramic line of products. I love the look of the matte underglaze, with hints of gloss here and there. Plus, I am truly in love the dragonflies; they are so magical to me. Oh, and that hidden little treasure of the sound of the rattle when you shake it is just as wonderful as the design of the rattle itself. True Happiness!

When you're not handcrafting such lovely ceramic pieces, what are your hobbies?
The question is what hobbies don't I have? I love to quilt, paint, create wonderful color groupings in our flower garden, work in our vegetable garden, camping, hiking, pretty much anything outdoors, and of course snowboard. I just LOVE the snow, and yes, I love shoveling it, as well. But most of these things have been put on the back burner or I just haven't been able to do them as much since I had our son. He is now a very energetic 2-1/4 year old little boy. So now, besides making product and promoting, most my time is taken up by him and family time.

What do you like best about The Artisan Group?
I really don't have one particular item that I like about The Artisan Group because there are so many! First of all, I never would have been able to promote my wares to such a great venue as GBK Productions. That opportunity has led to getting my ceramics into celebrities' hands, which has allowed me to explore other possible clients that I never would have been able to do on my own! Secondly, the group, as a whole as been wonderful, if there is a question you have, and, of course, there aren't any stupid questions here, you most likely will get an answer back or guided to a link that can help. The support has been wonderful! Everyday we are all supporting one another in one way or another, and of course Valerie has been a wonderful lead teacher and cheerleader. It wouldn't be what it is without her!
